JOB TITLE - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School based in North Bristol.The school prides itself on strong teamwork, excellent leadership, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Regular CPD opportunities are offered throughout the academic year, and depending on performance, this role may be extended or become permanent.

• Location: North Bristol
• Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Full-Time: Monday to Friday
• Day Rate: £100 - £130 per day
• Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm

• Previous experience working in a UK school is mandatory
• A minimum of 24 months of verifiable, child-related references is required
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
• Experience supporting primary-aged pupils across various year groups
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable, including:
  • Autism
  • Speech & Language Needs
• Up-to-date safeguarding training completed within the last year
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Experience with in healthcare or supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
• Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last 24 months
