Teacher Active is proud to be working with a Local Authority service in Gloucester to provide Alternative Provision support for pupils in home and community settings. The provision focuses on re-engaging learners through a personalised, flexible approach, helping them build confidence and return to education.

The service is looking to take on an experienced Tutor on a part-time basis, offering up to 15 hours per week from September 2026. The successful Tutor will be working closely with the Local Authority to deliver structured, well-planned sessions, supporting pupils accessing education through Alternative Provision and ensuring consistent progress through tailored learning.

• QTS
• Proven experience delivering tuition and planning engaging sessions
• Experience working within Alternative Provision or with the Local Authority
• Strong ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
