Are you a passionate English Teacher who can inspire a love of literature and language in secondary students? Do you have strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4? Are you looking for a permanent English Teacher role in a supportive Bristol secondary school from September?

The school promotes high academic standards, strong pastoral support, and encourages both staff and students to achieve their full potential. The school is looking to appoint a permanent English Teacher from September on a full-time basis. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining excellent classroom management, and supporting students to achieve strong outcomes across the English curriculum.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A passion for raising attainment in English
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
