Connex Education is seeking motivated and skilled Maths Teachers to work within secondary schools across Gloucester and the surrounding areas from September 2026. We have a variety of opportunities available, including both long-term placements and shorter-term assignments, making this an ideal role for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers alike.
As a Maths Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to encourage curiosity, build confidence, and support students as they develop the numerical and analytical skills needed for future success.
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes achievement and participation.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to develop students’ understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Monitor student progress through assessment and provide meaningful feedback to drive improvement.
- Encourage problem-solving, logical reasoning, and independent thinking within the classroom.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, although candidates with strong secondary Maths teaching experience are encouraged to apply.

- Sound knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection procedures.
