Teacher Active is proud to be working with Gloucestershire Local Authority to recruit dedicated Tutors to support children accessing Alternative Provision. This highly rewarding role involves delivering tailored one-to-one tuition within the child's home or local community setting, helping children with SEND remain engaged with education while working towards their individual learning goals.

The Local Authority is looking to appoint qualified Tutors on a part-time basis for an immediate start. The successful Tutor will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering personalised lessons that meet each child's educational needs, adapting teaching strategies to support a range of SEND and working closely with families and professionals to provide consistent, high-quality educational support.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Primary or Secondary curriculum
• Experience supporting children with SEND, including adapting learning to meet individual needs
• Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work independently and confidently within home or community environments
• A patient, resilient and flexible approach
