The

Candidate
  • Significant industry experience within agricultural engineering, mechanisation, machinery maintenance, agricultural technology or a related field
  • Passion for developing future agricultural and engineering professionals
  • Previous teaching, training, coaching or mentoring experience desirable, although not essential
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one with full employer support
  • Relevant qualifications in agricultural engineering, engineering, agriculture or a related discipline
  • Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners with varying levels of experience and ability
  • Strong relationship building skills with colleagues, employers and industry stakeholders
  • Enthusiastic, approachable and committed to delivering high-quality education and training
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality teaching across agricultural engineering and mechanisation programmes
  • Support learners in achieving excellent academic and practical outcomes
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and learning activities that reflect current industry practices
  • Encourage student interest and enthusiasm for engineering, machinery and agricultural technology
  • Monitor, assess and accurately record learner progress
  • Provide effective learner support and guidance to maximise achievement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance, safeguarding and health and safety requirements
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives where required
The Package
  • Salary of £27,119 – £44,227 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
  • Permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week

Candidate Requirements
