A highly regarded school in Gloucester is looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and dedicated team as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities of a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:- Support children with a range of SEN needs in 1:1 and group settings.
- Assist with the implementation of personalised learning plans designed by the class teacher and SENCo.
- Encourage inclusion, independence, and engagement among pupils.
- Adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic graduate with a genuine interest in SEN.
- Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- Experience working with children or young people (formal or informal) is beneficial but not essential.
- Supportive and experienced staff team.
