Aspiring Educational Psychologist | Newham | Immediate Start Are you a Psychology graduate considering a future in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy or wider NHS-based services? A highly inclusive primary school in Newham is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join immediately on a full-time basis until July 2027.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and speech and language difficulties. The school places significant emphasis on early identification and targeted intervention, with the inclusion team working closely with class teachers, families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support. You will gain meaningful exposure to the practical strategies used to support children's learning, emotional regulation, communication and social development.

The Role You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, helping children regulate emotions, develop communication skills and access learning successfully. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement individual support strategies, monitor progress and build positive relationships with pupils who require additional guidance throughout the school day.

The Ideal Candidate Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology or a related discipline from a leading UK university Has previous child-centred experience through mentoring, tutoring, coaching or care-based work Demonstrates excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence Has a genuine interest in child development, SEND and psychological practice Ribbons & Reeves is one of London's leading Education Recruitment agencies.
