ASAP About the Role We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support a widse range of pupils in their learning, development and wellbeing. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued and able to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities Support teachers with classroom activities and day to day learning. Provide one to one and small group support to SEN pupils. Help children develop their confidence, independence and social skills. Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities. Support pupils with additional learning needs where required. Promote positive behaviour and encourage a love of learning. Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes and school activities.
Contribute to the wider life of the school. About You We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with children aged 4-11. Patient, caring and approachable. Enthusiastic and able to inspire and encourage pupils. A strong communicator and team player. Reliable, organised and adaptable. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are keen to develop their skills.
