As a Supply Teacher
, you'll step into different primary classrooms and take responsibility for delivering lessons, supporting pupils and maintaining a positive learning environment.
You could be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
, depending on your experience and the vacancies available.
Your role may include:
- Delivering lessons using plans provided by the school
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining routines
- Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs
- Adapting activities where appropriate
- Building a positive rapport with pupils and staff
- Keeping pupils engaged throughout the school day
- Following school safeguarding and behaviour procedures
- Providing a consistent and positive classroom experience

RequirementsTo work as a Supply Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Suitable professional references
- Safeguarding and Child Protection training
£700-£900 per week
