Year 6 Teacher

Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive Primary School in Brockworth? This full-time role is available until the end of the academic year, offering the opportunity to support pupils through their SATs and help them achieve their full potential. You will take on full Class Teacher responsibilities, with pay ranging from £174.10 to £240.70 per day, depending on experience, with the potential to earn up to M6.

Previous UK school experience and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential.

• Take full responsibility for teaching a Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for their KS2 SATs, supporting attainment and closing gaps in learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Establish positive, productive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Work collaboratively with the supportive school team, including Teaching Assistants (TAs), to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain a calm, consistent and positive classroom environment, helping pupils develop confidence and achieve their potential.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 (KS2) SATs.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
• Proven ability to close gaps in attainment and achieve strong pupil progress.
• Experience working as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher within a Primary School.
• Ability to build supportive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Calm, hardworking, reliable and resilient, with the ability to adapt to challenging situations.
• Experience working alongside TAs and supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
• A commitment to pupil wellbeing, inclusion and a positive work life balance.
