Role Description

This is a full‑time role located in the Shrewsbury area for a Qualified Renewable Electrician. The role requires travel to different areas for work depending on project location (Cheshire, North Wales, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas). The electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems. Day‑to‑day tasks will include wiring and connecting Solar PV systems, performing routine electrical maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.

Qualifications
  • Qualified electrician (18th Edition / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum)
  • Proven experience working within the renewable energy sector
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Ability to work on‑site and location in the Shrewsbury area, with a focus on safety and adherence to industry standards
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems, particularly Solar PV and heat pumps, is essential
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical designs, schematics, and technical documents
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
