Internal Applications Engineer – Gloucester
We’re partnered with a growing UK manufacturer delivering packaged pump systems, plant rooms and water-based solutions across a wide range of sectors including commercial, hospitality, healthcare and residential developments.
Following continued expansion, acquisitions and a significant increase in upcoming projects, the business is targeting a turnover of £220M by 2030. To support this, they’re looking to appoint an Internal Applications Engineer to strengthen the technical team whilst working closely with contractors, consultants and internal teams to support projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Key responsibilities – Internal Applications Engineer
 
* Reviewing project requirements and preparing technical submissions
 
* Producing quotations based on application requirements and system design
 
* Supporting consultants and M&E contractors with technical queries
 
* Liaising with the external sales team to support project delivery
 
* Working across a range of projects, from smaller schemes through to larger commercial/industrial projects
 
* Providing technical support to customers where required
 
* Occasional involvement in site visits or meetings for larger or more complex projects
Ideal Candidate
You’ll come from a strong mechanical or HVAC background with an understanding of mechanical systems and how they are applied within projects.
 
* You’ll have experience within applications, design, technical support or quotations
 
* Understanding building services systems such as pumps, heating and hot water systems or packaged plant rooms
 
* Comfortable working from technical information and producing accurate submissions
 
* Can communicate clearly with internal teams, consultants and contractors
 
* Looking to develop within a technical environment rather than a sales-led role
Package
 
* Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)
 
* Hybrid working model, occasional office attendance
