At Hinkley Point C, Brockworth , were helping to build Britains first new nuclear power station in a generation providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes.
As a Tier One partner, GXO delivers essential warehousing and transport services to support the project. Here at GXO, were looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to champion safety standards, drive a proactive safety culture, and support our teams across a complex and highly regulated environment. This is a full-time permanent position. Youll be working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 4pm .

Were looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 , depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme. What youll do on a typical day:
Developing, leading and maintaining Management Plans, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) Delivering and recording colleague safety training while identifying and escalating any gaps Inputting, analysing and reporting Health, Safety and Environment data into both GXO and Client systems Chairing and presenting at HSE meetings, ensuring actions are tracked, closed and escalated where required Managing contractors end-to-endfrom permit checks and inductions to compliance, pass control and exit requirements What you need to succeed at GXO: NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Safety (plus evidence of ongoing CPD) Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and proven experience promoting a safety-first culture Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
Experience with in construction, infrastructure or defence environments (ideal but not essential) Confidence in auditing, risk assessment, incident investigation and driving continuous improvement We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
