Design Engineer (Plant Rooms)
Are you an experienced Plant Room Design Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a manufacturer of Fluid Technology Systems, is expanding and looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing plant rooms, P&'s and pipework.
Location:
Gloucester.
Employment type:
Permanent.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
- Design plant rooms, P&'s and pipework
- Review structural drawings and calculations
- Liaise with departments, suppliers and support projects
- Maintain library of standard parts; CAD using Solid Works to create product GA drawings
- Experience in designing plant rooms is essential, predominantly pipework systems
- Experience with Solid Works (ideal), alternatively Autodesk Inventor
- Sheet metal / fabrication design knowledge advantageous
- Good communication and teamwork skills
