Principal Electrical Design Engineer

Beyond design, you’ll be a technical authority and mentor—raising capability across the team and ensuring solutions are world class, compliant, and right first time.

As Principal Electrical Design Engineer you will lead the design, development and implementation of electrical control systems for complex machinery ensuring compliance with EN60204‑33, EN13849, UL, CSA, and CE marking requirements.

Experience:

As Principal Electrical Designer, you should have a proven track record in Electrical Design, designing machine control systems, and strong team leadership experience.

Full proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / LT 2014 / Solid Edge / CAD is essential for this role.

Also essential, is a strong working knowledge of EN60204‑33, EN13849, UL, CSA, and CE marking.

Qualifications:

A relevant Engineering Degree and ideally a Postgrad qualification in a relevant discipline.

Salary:

Competitive salary in the region of c £70k, plus generous benefits

Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid (3days onsite)
