Process Engineer (Gloucester)

£48,000 - £53,000 25 days Bank Holidays, 7.5% bonus, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

• Lead loss elimination and process optimisation across packaging and processing lines.
• Reduce stoppages, changeovers, waste and variability through data‑driven problem solving.
• Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure lines run to standard.
• Train and coach technicians and line teams on root cause analysis and basic conditions.
• Support digital and automation projects to improve performance and consistency.
• Drive OR and DBNR improvements and share best practices across lines.
• Act as deputy for the CI Manager when required.

• Strong FMCG manufacturing knowledge in processing and packaging.
• Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering background with hands‑on problem‑solving ability.
• Skilled in data analysis, statistics and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with FI, AM, PM, Q, PD, and ICMS tools.
• Ability to design processes, optimise manpower and reduce NVAA. Strong project management and FMEA capability.
• Confident trainer, coach and cross‑functional collaborator.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of manufacturing financial KPIs.
