We are looking for talented individuals to join our Manufacturing team as an Assembly Engineer at our Gloucester site.

Your Role
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Assembly Engineer to support new product introductions, drive production excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement across our assembly operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is motivated by delivering high‑quality, efficient manufacturing processes
Key Responsibilities
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide day‑to‑day assistance to production operations.
Contribute to projects involving new equipment, tooling, process optimisation, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Participate in design reviews, offering technical input to enhance product manufacturability and process robustness.
Assist in organising and preparing review meetings with cross‑functional teams and shop‑floor personnel.
Support Process FMEAs, root‑cause analysis, and process validation activities, including PPAP documentation.
Track project milestones, maintain progress reports, and prepare updates for teams and management.
Drive improvements in product quality, operational efficiency, and lead‑time reduction through lean manufacturing principles.
Support the Non‑Conformance Process, including preparation of rework instructions and corrective actions.
Assist in the implementation of digital assembly routines as part of the Paperless Manufacturing initiative.
