SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Team Leader to join the maintenance department of an energy from waste power station near the Gloucester area.

This is a senior role focused on the performance, reliability and maintenance of all mechanical plant across the facility. The successful candidate will act as the site's mechanical technical expert, leading a skilled maintenance team and ensuring plant equipment is maintained safely, efficiently and in line with statutory and environmental requirements.

The role will involve:

• Leading and managing a team of mechanical maintenance technicians
• Taking ownership of mechanical plant performance, reliability and availability
• Acting as the site technical lead for mechanical maintenance activities
• Diagnosing complex faults, carrying out root cause analysis and driving reliability improvements
• Planning and coordinating preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance activities
• Supporting shutdowns, outages and major engineering works
• Supervising contractors, service providers and specialist vendors on site
