Hours:

37 Hours Per Week – Week 1 Monday to Friday, Week 2 Monday to Thursday:
Every Second Friday Off

Canddiates will need experience with PLC, HMI and motion programming, ideally with robotic applications and can come from any industry background.

The successful Controls/Automation Engineer will be based from the companys site in Gloucester where they will work within a small team programming PLC, HMI and Motion Control applications for automated machinery. You will work on both new and existing machinery so will be involved in both programming from scratch and modification.

• Programming PLC, HMI and Motion Control:
  Rockwell Logix Platform, Safety PLC, Siemens Control systems etc.
• Modification and programming from scratch
• Split between based at Gloucester and international travel to client sites (four to five times per year, two to three weeks per time)
• Travel alongside mechanical service engineers to resolve any issues that appear after machinery is rebuilt on customer sites to customers satisfaction

• Experience in a similar role
• Ability to program from scratch
• Experience with PLC, HMI and motion programming, ideally robotic applications
