Due to recent company expansion, a leading name within the Dust / Fume Ventilation industry is seeking an experienced LEV Test Engineer to join their team. You will be conducting thorough examinations and testing of existing systems, ensuring compliance and full functionality, and making appropriate recommendations for servicing and maintenance work where required. Our client is a privately-owned outfit, who can offer fantastic further training and development for hardworking individuals.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Experience working as an LEV Test Engineer within manufacturing and heavy industry environments
  • Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
  • It would be advantageous to hold further BOHS modules, but this is not essential
  • Good understanding of COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines
  • Hardworking attitude
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role
  • Conducting examinations and testing of existing LEV, dust and fume ventilation systems, identifying any performance or compliance faults
  • Servicing and minor repairs on existing systems
  • Emissions testing
  • Replacing fans, belts and filters
  • Testing fume cupboards
  • Producing thorough technical reports
  • Meeting with clients to provide technical advice and project updates
  • Travelling in line with company needs
  • Adhering to safety guidelines
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
