Calibration Engineer

Morson are recruiting for a Calibration Engineer on behalf of our aerospace client Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-leading aerospace manufacturer, supporting the Metrology & Calibration function within a highly regulated aerospace environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing calibration activities across the business, ensuring all measuring equipment remains compliant, traceable, and fit for purpose in line with customer, regulatory, and quality management system requirements.

The role would suit an experienced Calibration Engineer, Metrology Engineer, or Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of measurement systems, calibration processes, and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating and executing metrology and calibration activities across the site.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and customer requirements to determine calibration needs.
• Ensuring all measuring equipment remains calibrated, traceable, and suitable for operational use.
• Maintaining and administering the calibration management database, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
