The Opportunity

ARCA Consulting is supporting a leading specialist infrastructure business in recruiting an experienced Project Manager to deliver major OHL, substation, cable and civils projects across the UK.

We're looking for mid-to-senior level Project Managers with a strong background in utilities, energy or major infrastructure, taking ownership of safety, programme, cost, quality and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of OHL, substation, HV cable and civils projects.
• Manage programme, cost, risk, quality and safety.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Manage NEC4 processes, including early warnings and compensation events.
• Oversee forecasting, CVRs, commercial performance and project reporting.
• Manage CDM, environmental and quality requirements.
• Coordinate outages, access requirements and project interfaces.
• Support ECI, tendering and project development where required.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Project delivery experience, with flexibility for highly relevant candidates.
• Experience with in TO/DNO, utilities, energy or major infrastructure.
• Strong NEC4 ECC knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and clients.
• End-to-end project delivery experience.
• Background in one or more of OHL, substations, HV cable, cable routes/tunnels, civils or utilities infrastructure.

Experience of CEMAR, P6/MS Project, outage planning, TO/DNO authorisations, ECI, ASTI, HVDC or NSIP would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications may include CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, EUSR SHEA Power, IOSH/NEBOSH, First Aid, Temporary Works and professional project management qualifications.

Relevant TO/DNO authorisations are advantageous.

Location

Gloucester-based hybrid role with regular nationwide travel to project sites and overnight stays where required.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
