Our client is seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to develop their career within a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll support the design and development of engineered products from concept through to production, gaining exposure to the full product life cycle.

• Create Solid Works 3D models, 2D CAD drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support new product development and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist with engineering calculations, testing, and product validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Support prototype development and new product introduction activities.
• Maintain accurate engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience using Solid Works and 2D CAD through university projects, placements, internships, or employment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Placement year or internship within manufacturing or engineering.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DfM), CNC machining, or manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to FEA, engineering calculations, or product testing.
