An exciting opportunity has opened up with a growing and well-established engineering consultancy in Gloucester, where you'll join a talented team working on an interesting mix of commercial and residential projects.
As a structural engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects from initial concept through to detailed design, collaborating with architects, contractors and other design professionals to deliver practical, innovative structural solutions.
This is a great role for a structural engineer who wants variety, responsibility and the chance to develop their career within a supportive consultancy where your contribution genuinely matters.
What will you be working on?
You'll be involved in a varied portfolio, predominantly covering:
🏢 Commercial developments
🏠 Residential schemes
🏗️ New-build and refurbishment projects
📐 Structural analysis, calculations and design
🤝 Working closely with clients, architects and the wider design team
🚀 Helping deliver projects from concept through to completion
What are they looking for?
The ideal structural engineer will have experience within a UK consultancy environment and a strong understanding of structural design principles.
You'll ideally have:
A relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience working within a structural engineering consultancy
Strong technical and analytical skills
Experience with relevant design software
Good knowledge of UK design standards and building regulations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
A proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for structural engineering
