About the RoleAs a Project Analyst within the PMO, you will provide financial assurance and enable Project and Programme Managers to make informed business decisions. Your role involves approving expenses, ensuring accurate and timely client billing, performing variance analysis to prevent cost overruns, forecasting and tracking profitability throughout the project lifecycle, and collaborating with Finance, Commercial, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Approve expenses and ensure accurate, timely client billing.
- Perform variance analysis to prevent cost overruns.
- Assist with forecasting and tracking profitability across projects.
- Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, and Senior Leaders.
- Support project delivery and contribute to a collaborative culture.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation such as client forecast trackers.
- Assist with quarterly EACs and validate CIP balances.
- Support new business opportunities through financial modelling.
- Manage invoicing and monthly billing approvals for all project costs and expenses.
- Excellent organisational skills and time management.
- Strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams, reports, and deadlines in fast‑paced environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in reports and records.
- Confident communicator, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Ability to explain financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Finance certification desirable but not essential.
- Eligible for achieving SC security clearance.
