Overview
At Gloucestershire County Council we manage street works across the county. The Compliance Officer supports the management of Street works and helps ensure that all works activities on the council's highway network are legally compliant. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will support the performance management of Statutory Undertakers/Works Promoters operating on our network and work closely with local authorities, transport agencies and utility contractors.
Responsibilities- Support the performance management of Statutory Undertakers/Works Promoters on the council’s network.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations for works activities on the council’s highway network.
- Work with stakeholders such as other local authorities, transport agencies, utility contractors and internal teams to maintain compliance.
- Proven experience in street works and a strong understanding of relevant systems, regulations and principles.
- Right to work in the UK for at least 6 months of employment. (No sponsorship provided.)
