Overview of the Enforcement and Regulation Team
Our new Enforcement and Regulation Team is made up of the private sector housing, HMO licensing, disabled facilities grant, Planning enforcement and environmental crime enforcement teams dedicated to improving housing and environmental conditions, reducing health inequalities, and finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing our residents and communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a lead business support officer, you will process HMO Licence and Disabled Facility Grant applications, manage financial administration and debt recovery, conduct legal searches, coordinate FOIs, handle Data Protection and Subject Access responses, and perform any other technical functions within the service.
You will work flexibly and adaptively with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and excellent organisational and communication skills, working with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver the aims of the role.
Qualifications and ExperienceIdeally you will have experience in a local authority business support or housing role with an understanding of processing and managing application forms and data. We welcome candidates who can demonstrate the key transferable skills, experiences, and behavioural attributes set out in the job profile.
