About the Role

Matson House is a 12‑bed shared accommodation facility that supports people with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker you will enrich lives, provide personal care, and participate in outdoor activities such as walking, horse riding, swimming, and day outings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily personal care and support to residents with learning disabilities.
  • Engage residents in outdoor activities and day outings using public transport.
  • Maintain accurate records of care plans and progress.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in a caring environment preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Calm under pressure and confident working independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about making a difference to others’ lives.
  • Basic care‑certificate training or willingness to undergo induction to Care Certificate Standards.
Key Skills
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
  • Good written communication.
  • Confidence to work alone and in a team.

Additional Information
