About the RoleMatson House is a 12‑bed shared accommodation facility that supports people with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker you will enrich lives, provide personal care, and participate in outdoor activities such as walking, horse riding, swimming, and day outings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily personal care and support to residents with learning disabilities.
- Engage residents in outdoor activities and day outings using public transport.
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and progress.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Experience in a caring environment preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Calm under pressure and confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about making a difference to others’ lives.
- Basic care‑certificate training or willingness to undergo induction to Care Certificate Standards.
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Good written communication.
- Confidence to work alone and in a team.
- Passion for improving people’s welfare.
- Friendly, passionate, and caring nature.
