Job Description

We are recruiting Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to work within NHS mental health services in Swindon. This is an agency role supporting NHS wards and community teams, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in line with NHS standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide safe, effective mental health nursing care

* Carry out mental health and risk assessments

* Develop and review care plans with the MDT

* Administer and monitor medication

* Maintain accurate clinical documentation

* Support recovery-focused and person-centred care

* Adhere to NHS policies, safeguarding, and health & safety standards

* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and professionals

Essential Requirements

* RMN qualification with valid NMC PIN

* Right to work in the UK

* Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)

* Previous mental health experience

* Ability to work flexibly across NHS services

Mandatory Training (In Date)

* PMVA/MAPA (or equivalent)

* Basic Life Support

* Safeguarding Adults & Children

* Manual Handling

* Infection Control

* Fire Safety

Occupational Health Requirements

* Hepatitis B

* MMR

* Varicella

* TB screening
