Why This Role Matters
This isn’t just another care job — it’s an opportunity to make a life-changing impact on a young girl living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare condition that makes her skin extremely fragile.

She is bright, engaging, and full of personality. With your support, she can continue living with confidence, comfort, and joy. Your presence will help her stay independent, feel safe, and experience the world in a way that feels empowering rather than limiting.

You won’t just be a care assistant.
You’ll be someone she can trust, rely on, and feel comfortable with — a consistent, positive influence during an important time in her life.

What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in her daily comfort and wellbeing, offering both clinical and emotional support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting bandage preparation, dressing changes, and monitoring skin health
Helping with daily medical needs in a calm, confident manner
Offering companionship, conversation, and engagement through hobbies, play, and outings
Encouraging independence and supporting her emotional development
Working closely with her family to maintain consistent, reassuring care
Responding with patience, empathy, and steadiness in moments of anxiety or discomfort  This is meaningful work — the kind you go home from knowing you made a real difference.

Who You Are
You are warm, steady, and able to bring both skill and kindness to your role.

You’ll ideally have:
Experience in complex care or paediatrics, including wound management

A calm, confident, emotionally intelligent approach
An understanding of patience, empathy, and trust-building
A natural ability to connect with children and support their wellbeing
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in the role  Experience supporting anxiety or mental health is helpful, but above all, your compassion and reliability are what matter most.

What You’ll Receive

Flexible shifts designed around your lifestyle
Weekly pay plus holiday entitlement
Free uniform and refunded DBS
Ongoing clinical training and funded Level 2 Diplomas
Supportive office team who are always there for you
Employee recognition, including Employee of the Month
The chance to change a child’s life every single day  Apply Today If you’re ready to bring warmth, skill, and compassion to a child’s life — helping her feel safe, confident, and more independent — we’d love to hear from you
