To be part of the Ophthalmic Imaging team and deliver education, training and ophthalmic imaging, at Cheltenham, Gloucester and Community hospitals. The post holder will be responsible for implementing education, training and development strategies and delivery throughout Ophthalmic Imaging, with expert knowledge, for all staff groups - including Ophthalmic Imagers and university students.
The post holder must ensure the provision of education and training support is in-line with both the needs across all of our clinical areas and that of the Ophthalmic Imaging qualification criteria. They will need to dynamically identify the educational/developmental needs in clinical practice and work with the Education Team and MDT to provide responsive support to these needs. The post holder will be required to undertake both routine clinical duties and education/training duties on a regular basis, to ensure the quality of service is maintained.,
The post holder will be working within the Gloucestershire Ophthalmic Imaging team based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital NHSFT. The post holder will be responsible for education and training of all Ophthalmic Imaging students and Ophthalmic Imagers - including administrative duties.
