Job Overview

As a Live-in Carer in Gloucester, you will move into a client's home to provide round-the-clock support. The role is based in the client's home, where you will live 24/7 as part of a Care Team. You will work across Gloucester and the surrounding areas. Pay rates are competitive and vary depending on the client's needs.

Responsibilities

Companionship – keep clients happy
Personal hygiene support – help with washing and dressing
Medication – reminders and collecting prescriptions
Meal preparation – assistance at mealtimes
Housework – laundry, cleaning and tidying
Errands – shopping assistance and running errands
Mobility – help with getting around

Working Patterns

Live-in Carers may choose short-term placements or more permanent ones. Placements and hours are agreed with clients and the Care Team to suit both client and Carer needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

Right to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
A caring and positive attitude

Training & Support

Alina Homecare Academy provides exclusive training to prepare Carers from day one. No previous professional qualifications are required.
