Our Adult Social Care Reablement Service is seeking a committed, compassionate, and skilled professionals to join our team working across Gloucestershire.

These opportunities are embedded within our reablement offer, applying strengths-based approaches and functional interventions to support people to “do for themselves” and achieve sustainable, independent outcomes. These roles form part of our ongoing service development, and the successful candidates will join a supportive and innovative environment where professional development is actively encouraged, and your contribution will have a meaningful impact. About the team/service:
Our team plays a key role in supporting adults across Gloucestershire who have care and support needs as a result of illness, disability, or changing life circumstances. You will support our Occupational Therapists to work across a range of settings, including community-based teams, locality services, hospital discharge pathways, and specialist services, supporting individuals to overcome barriers and maintain independence in their daily lives.
As an Occupational Therapy Lead, you will manage and take a lead role in the professional development of our Occupational Therapists through supervision, mentoring and offering advice. You will be expected to promote a culture of professional curiosity, encouraging accountability and role modelling this in your own best practice. Our approach focuses on working in partnership with individuals to understand their goals and priorities, enabling them to achieve outcomes through practical interventions and effective support.
Practice is underpinned by key legislative frameworks, including the Care Act, the Mental Capacity Act, and the Human Rights Act, ensuring that the rights, wishes, and autonomy of individuals remain central to all decision-making. This is a dynamic and evolving service, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
