Registered Nurse - Band 5 Endoscopy (30 hours a week)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated nurse with appropriate experience in an acute setting with a commitment to team working and a keen interest in continuous improvement. Experience in an endoscopy setting would be an advantage, but full training will be given to nurses from different backgrounds.
All nurses will complete an induction programme which will be tailored to their specific needs. Once completed, they will be expected to participate in the cross-county on-call rota providing out of hours emergency care. Following induction they will be expected to undertake a number of specific endoscopy courses in line with their ongoing development programme.

Main duties of the jobTo assess, plan, implement, evaluate and provide high quality nursing care.
To work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
To manage caseload of patients within defined clinical area.
To participate in the out of hours on call emergency bleed rota
To organise own time and that of junior staff and students.
To support the senior members of staff in the management and supervision of the defined clinical area.
To be responsible for the coordination of the clinical area in the absence of a more senior nurse.
