Brockworth House Nursing Home is located in a peaceful area of Gloucester, overlooking Coopers Hill and close to the scenic Witcombe Reservoirs. The home provides high-quality nursing and dementia care for up to 52 residents. Set within beautiful grounds, Brockworth House offers a warm, family-like environment where residents can feel safe, valued, and supported. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Team Leader (Care) to support residents and lead care staff within our clinical care home. This is a hands‑on role, combining direct care with shift leadership to ensure high standards of person‑centred care.

• Lead and supervise care staff on shift and act as senior point of contact.
• Deliver and oversee care in line with individual care plans.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
• Assist with clinical tasks and medication administration in line with MAR charts and protocols.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and upscale concerns.
• Complete clear handovers and maintain accurate care documentation.
• Ensure care delivery meets safeguarding, infection control, and CQC requirements.
• Support new starters and promote Ashberry values of Compassion, Integrity, and Loyalty.

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred.
• Experience in a care setting, ideally as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader.
• Confident, calm, and supportive leadership style.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional.
