What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for young people with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educational and residential teams to ensure a clinically informed environment for living and learning.
  • Deliver individualised interventions to improve the communication skills of children with complex needs.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic support for young people with a range of developmental conditions and special educational needs.
  • Contribute to the training and support of other staff members, ensuring best practices are followed throughout.

Requirements

  • Qualified Speech & Language Therapist with relevant professional registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism and other additional needs such as ADHD and speech and language difficulties.
  • Ability to undertake assessments, develop therapy plans, and deliver effective interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality therapeutic support and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
