HR Recruit is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our client in the education sector. This role is initially offered as a three-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead and be accountable for a small team of HR professionals.
The Head of People will provide strategic and operational leadership across the HR/People function to ensure the organisation attracts, retains and develops high-quality staff. The post holder will lead all areas of HR management including employee relations, staff development, safeguarding, and compliance from an HR and legal perspective.
Role Responsibilities- Lead, manage and develop the HR/People team to deliver responsive, professional and customer focused services to all areas of the organisation.
- Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of policies and processes for recruitment and performance management, employment relations, application of good employment practice, staff restructuring, and complex staff casework.
