Description
As the People Partner, you'll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, delivering high-quality HR support across a broad range of people matters. You'll combine strategic partnering with hands-on operational HR, ensuring consistent, commercially focused and people-centred solutions. Working closely with the wider People & Culture team, you'll play a key role in supporting business objectives, driving employee engagement and ensuring HR best practice across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with managers across the manufacturing site, providing expert HR advice and guidance.
Coach and support leaders on employee relations, performance management and people-related matters.
Lead employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
Support complex ER cases alongside the wider People & Culture Business Partner team.
Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Support the delivery and implementation of HR programmes and people initiatives.
Assist with recruitment activities where on-site support is required, including interviews.
Support organisational change and employee lifecycle activities, including exits.
Act as a key link between the business and wider HR Centres of Excellence.
Help drive employee engagement, data integrity and continuous improvement across HR processes.
Profile
We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist or People Partner who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
You'll bring:
Proven experience in a broad HR Generalist or People Partner role.
Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and case management.
A solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence managers at all levels.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience using HR systems (SAP Success Factors would be advantageous).
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
Job Offer
Salary c £55,000-£58,000 + Bonus & Great Benefits
Permanent full-time position - 4 days per week on-site in Coleford
