HR Advisor​/Generalist - FTC 12 months

We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist/ HR Advisor to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across all aspects of HR, providing practical, commercially focused support to managers and employees while helping to shape a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of HR activities, ensuring the business remains compliant while supporting managers with people-related matters.

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening candidates, arranging interviews and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment journey.
• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
• Lead and support disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management processes in line with company policies and employment legislation.
• Prepare payroll information, ensuring all employee changes, absences, overtime and amendments are accurately submitted to the payroll provider within deadlines.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
• Support employee development, probation reviews and performance processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures where required.
• Produce HR reports and support managers with workforce planning and people-related data.
• Promote employee engagement and contribute to continuous improvement across the HR function.

You'll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships and providing pragmatic, commercial HR support across a busy business.

• Previous experience working in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases.
• Experience preparing and submitting payroll information.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, confidential and professional approach.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
