Network Engineer – 5 days onsite in Gloucestershire

We seek an experienced Network Engineer to support a platinum account on site. The successful candidate will work across multiple teams, contribute innovative and analytical solutions, and apply a keen eye for detail. The role includes implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.

• Provide first and second‑level technical support on incidents and problems
• Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
• Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
• Assist in building compliance with our processes and policies

• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Working to ITIL best practices
• Desire to improve processes, looking for the root cause of a problem
• Willingness to share knowledge and learn from others
• Proactive approach towards identifying risks and problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work in an agile fashion

• Experience in Cisco (Nexus, ASA, ACI, Hyperflex)
• Knowledge of F5 software (LTM, ASM, GTM)
• Experience in Ansible
• Experience working in datacenters
• Knowledge of VMware (vSphere, NSX‑V, NSX‑T)
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
• Experience in Dell VxRAIL
• Knowledge of Solar Winds NCM (NPM useful)
• Experience in Software‑Defined Networking
