Location: Gloucester (5 Days Onsite)

Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits

We''re seeking an experienced Operational Cyber Vulnerability Researcher to join a highly skilled team focused on delivering cutting-edge cyber capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in deep technical research environments and wants to push the boundaries of vulnerability discovery and exploitation.

What You ll Be Doing
  • Conducting advanced vulnerability research across a range of platforms, operating systems, and technologies.
  • Performing detailed reverse engineering of software, firmware, and embedded systems.
  • Researching and analysing complex threats, exploits, and attack techniques.
  • Developing proof-of-concept exploits and supporting exploitation activities.
  • Creating bespoke tooling to support research and operational objectives.
  • Collaborating with other cyber specialists to solve unique and technically demanding challenges.
  • Staying at the forefront of emerging vulnerabilities, attack methodologies, and security research.
What We re Looking For
  • Proven expertise in high assurance development, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
  • Strong background as a hands-on cyber security researcher with a genuine passion for researching complex technical problems.
  • Experience using industry-standard tooling such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, debuggers, emulators, and analysis frameworks.
  • Excellent understanding of low-level programming concepts and languages such as C, C++, Assembly, or Rust.
  • Strong knowledge of operating system internals, network protocols, and application security.
  • Experience identifying, analysing, and exploiting vulnerabilities across modern platforms.
  • Ability to work independently on complex research challenges while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
