System Support Analyst

After a stunning long weekend in the south of Devon I am back and fully refreshed! with that being said I have a new role for System Support Analyst in Gloucestershire/ Cotswolds that could be a great next step for someone eager!

We are currently working with an established organisation within the financial services sector, supporting customers through a range of specialist financial products and services. They're looking for a System Support Analyst to join their IT team and play a key role in supporting their core business systems and ensuring everything runs smoothly within a production environment.

Location:

Gloucestershire / Cotswolds

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

Monday-Friday | 8:45am-5pm

£35,000 salary + benefits

• Providing production support across core line of business systems, managing incidents, service requests and operational issues through to resolution.
• Monitoring system performance, application health, data processing and integrations to identify issues early and minimise business disruption.
• Investigating recurring incidents and system issues, carrying out root-cause analysis and helping drive permanent fixes and improvements.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for assigned systems, developing a strong understanding of functionality, configuration, data flows and dependencies.
• Supporting change and release activity, including testing, validating production changes and maintaining technical documentation.
• Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and improve system performance.

• 2+ years' experience in a similar system support, application support or technical support role.
• Experience working within financial services would be highly desirable but not essential.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A methodical, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Someone comfortable working collaboratively across different teams and managing multiple priorities.
