Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary technical referral point for Marine claims, supporting capability development across internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with MGAs, brokers, customers, and external experts to enable effective claims resolution.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Pricing, and Reserving to share insights, trends, and market intelligence, representing the business in market forums.
Regulatory, Compliance & Complaints Handling
  • Ensure claims handling meets regulatory and internal governance requirements, managing complaints to deliver fair outcomes and identify root‑cause improvements.
  • Escalate risks appropriately while mentoring junior handlers and contributing to training materials for the Claims Academy.
  • Act as a recognised technical leader within the Marine class, supporting continuous improvement and professional development.
What you'll need to have

  • Strong relationship‑building skills and solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience launching or managing new claims propositions or products.
What makes you stand out
