Commercial Underwriter

Underwriting and negotiating new and/or existing Agricultural business within your authority.

Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement.

Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth.

Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices.

Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas.

Representing our brand at broker meetings, industry events and field visits as needed. Experience either working in Underwriting from a Commercial or Personal Lines background or experience of agricultural insurance from a claims or underwriting background.

A sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy.

Existing Broker relationships would be beneficial.

Excellent communication skills.

The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers.
