, is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join the Community Broking team in our Gloucester office. As a Commercial Account Handler you will deliver excellent service and advice, achieve business and product targets, maintain high retention, and manage mid‑term adjustments, queries and claims efficiently and accurately.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing holistic insurance reviews for commercial clients, identifying and promoting related products to both new and existing business clients.
  • Ensuring policy administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner, collaborating with your Account Executive and the Risk & Compliance team.
  • Continuously improving your technical competence and staying up to date with product, market trends and underwriting guidelines to handle referrals and complex work.
  • Managing claims effectively, keeping clients well informed throughout the process.
  • Providing support and direction to the complaints handler and ensuring all complaints handling requirements are met, including appropriate reporting.
  • Underwriting scheme policies in line with underwriting levels and referral guidelines.
What you’ll need to have
  • Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance.
  • Proven experience working within the UK insurance industry.
  • Confidence and ability to build rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience.
  • Organised, resourceful, deadline‑driven and a supportive team player.
  • Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client‑focused environment with excellent attention to detail.
