We're seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a well-established insurance team in Bristol.

You’ll manage insurance claims end-to-end, ensuring fair, accurate and compliant outcomes in line with FCA regulations and internal policies.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong claims experience and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

• Manage insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement
• Assess claims and make decisions in line with policy terms and FCA guidelines
• Communicate with customers throughout the claims process, providing clear updates
• Handle queries and complaints through to resolution
• Maintain accurate and detailed case records
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements

• Previous experience in a claims handling or claims assessor role (essential)
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• Strong decision‑making skills and a customer‑focused approach
