Key Responsibilities of a Technical Claims Handler

Handling complex technical claims cases
Acting as a subject matter expert across the business
Providing technical and legislative claims expertise and knowledge
Instructing and collaborating with claims partners, such as brokers, lawyers, investigators and assessors
Developing and managing relationships with claims partners, updating existing processes, and creating new ones
Support training of new starters and supervise team during peak periods

Key Skills and

Experience of a Technical Claims Handler

You ideally will have a strong understanding of claims including technical knowledge and experience (10 plus years of handling claims essential)
You should be able to build internal relationships and understand the expertise across the firm
Having a commercial, committed and proactive approach is required
You will need to be able to interact with clients, intermediaries and suppliers to build effective, collaborative working relationships based on trust
