The Governance and Legal Team plays a vitalrole in ensuring the University meets its legal, governance and regulatoryresponsibilities. Working closely with stakeholders across the University, theteam supports the University's corporate governance framework, informationgovernance compliance and insurance activities, student casework management,the provision of legal services, and secretariat services to support the institution in achieving its mission and objectives.
About the roleWe are seeking an organised and proactiveprofessional Insurance and Legal Officer to join our Governance and Legal Team within the Chief Financial Officer Directorate.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of insurance, information governance and legal matters, supporting the University in meeting its legal, regulatory and compliance responsibilities.
As a key member of the team, you will manageday-to-day insurance arrangements, coordinate information governance activities, and support legal and contractual matters across the institution.
You will also contribute to the University'sgovernance framework by providing support for committees, boards, and panelmeetings.
