We have an amazing opportunity for a Debt Recovery Paralegal to join our Legal Services Litigation Team. The work you will be carrying out will not only be invaluable to Legal Services but also pivotal to all Service Areas in Gloucestershire County Council. Your work will vary from providing support and assistance to the Debt Recovery Lawyer to holding and managing your own caseload of legal cases including advocating in court where appropriate.
In return you will part of a legal team that actively encourages career development opportunities should that be something of interest or importance to you.
You will need to have excellent organisational and time management skills to allow you to prioritise workloads, some of which can be conflicting priorities. We also need you to be able to work well under pressure. You will need to be flexible, able to adapt from one area of law to another and have excellent communication skills to be able to advocate at court as well as build excellent client relationships.,
